Welcome to the art of dhamma. Our mission is to expand the awareness of the Buddha nature while serving as a vehicle to fund various global relief and environmental preservation projects and organizations. As such, a percentage of profits will be donated to support these efforts.

The release of The Aja Collection and the establishment of The Cambodian Trager® Fund mark the initial phase of a personal goal of the photographer, to introduce The Trager® Approach to physical therapists in Cambodia to aid in the treatement of mine victims suffering from acute psychophysical trauma and children with polio.

"Reflected in these timeless images, recorded in 1998 in Indonesia and Cambodia, is the wisdom of the Buddha, awareness, equanimity and compassion. It is my hope that through this photographic offering, I may return to this South East Asian region something of equal value to the warmth and awakening I received."

Again, my hope is that many may benefit from these peaceful images, my relief programs and this approach to eCommerce. Thank you for you support and purchase. If you have not yet taken advantage of my special offer, please click here for your free print, download combo and special Vitality report.

With much gratitude and metta,

Michael

Photographer Michael Lear

Michael's commitment to peace is not only evident in the extraordinary images he's captured but in his other endeavors as well. In addition to having a degree in finance, Michael has for over 15 years explored mind body medicine, meditation, yoga and soft tissue manipulation techniques. He has been a Trager® Practitioner and Tutor since 1991 and also owns and operates his own yoga studio, www.eastonyoga.com. At the core of his daily practice and his teaching is Vipassana meditation in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin as taught by S.N. Goenka.

In addition to the Cambodian Trager® Fund, Michael has supported fund raising activities at his yoga studio for Tibetan monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastery as they toured the US in 2001, 2002 and 2003. Please visit www.gomang.org for more details.

He is grateful for his travels through out South East Asia and Japan in 1998-2000 as it has allowed him to explore the world of no labels and shed his limited focus of self. As he began digesting the world at large through the lens of his camera, he discovered the transforming power and inherent beauty of innocence, beginner's mind.

It is from this new perspective and through the creations of artofdhamma.com and the Cambodian Trager® Fund that he hopes to expand his reach beyond his local community for the benefit of remote societies that have little chance of exposure to progressive means of alternative health care modalities and relief.
